IV-LOCK Safety Syringes
The IV-LOCK with cannula is the same as the basic AUTO-LOCK except that it uses a plastic cannula to connect to a Baxter or Alaris V-port
  • Alternatively, a blunt plastic adapter with Luer-Lock (to the syringe) may be used to enter the V-port
  • Some V-ports permit entry with a standard needle (any length), thus obviating the need to remove the needle after aspiration of a fluid from the vial
